Description

ENAMELLED PORCELAIN JERRICAN BY ERIC HIBELOT

Eric Hibelot makes his pieces entirely by hand his workshop in Burgundy.

The porcelain plates he uses are laminated in order to obtain plates with a thickness ranging from 2 to 5 mm.

After cutting them out, he will use them to create his objects.

Then comes the cooking. After a more or less long drying phase depending on the size and thickness of the pieces, Eric bakes them a first time at 980 ° (stretched) then a second time at 1280 °.

He often sets his decor in two stages: a part on raw earth and a second between the two firings (enamel for example).

From this artisanal work result unique and living objects such as this superb enamelled porcelain jerrican.

Origin: France

Material: glazed porcelain

Method of production: made with plates then enamelled. Made entirely by hand
